  • Complete any necessary forms online in advance of your appointment.
  • Submit any required consent forms provided before your visit
  • Plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early if you need additional time for check-in
  • Prepare any questions, concerns, or dental goals you would like to discuss

After booking your appointment, you will receive confirmation details along with reminders about your visit date and time.

When You Arrive

  • A friendly greeting from our front office team
  • Check-in and review of necessary information
  • A comfortable waiting area
  • Assistance with any questions about your appointment

Your Exam & X-Rays

Your first appointment gives our team an opportunity to take a look at your oral health and discuss any concerns you may have. Once you are settled in the dental chair, we will guide you through the appropriate parts of your examination, which may include:

A dental evaluation with the dentist

Digital X-rays when clinically appropriate

Intraoral photographs when helpful for evaluating or explaining findings

Digital scans when appropriate for evaluation or treatment planning

To make the most of your appointment, we encourage limiting phone use during your examination so you can focus on the examination and information being discussed.

We will review relevant findings with you and explain any recommended next steps so you can make informed decisions about your dental care.

Your Cleaning

Your cleaning recommendation will depend on the findings from your examination and the condition of your teeth and gums.

Your visit may include:

  • Professional cleaning based on your oral health needs
  • Removal of plaque and tartar buildup
  • Teeth polishing when appropriate
  • Practical guidance for maintaining your oral health at home
